This care can include strengthening and range of motion programs after surgery or radiation therapy, pain management treatments, general conditioning and mobility programs, and lymphedema assessment, education and management programs.

Lymphedema is an abnormal accumulation of fluid in specific areas of the body when the lymphatic system has been injured or damaged – either by surgical removal of lymph nodes, or by radiation therapy. This condition requires specialized care and ongoing treatment to control the fluid pooling and swelling.

Carolyn Cormier, RMT, CLT is trained to provide Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Comprehensive Decongestive Therapy as treatment.
