The Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care administers the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) to provide access to funding for important medical equipment and supplies for people who have long-term physical disabilities. In most cases ADP pays 75 percent of an approved price for devices such as walkers and compression garments.
In order to access ADP funding, you must be assessed by a registered Authorizer. The Authorizer will determine whether you meet ADP eligibility criteria and help you decide which device is best for you.
At Best Health Physiotherapy we have ADP Authorizers on staff who can help you access ADP funding for walkers and compression garments.
